vsearch is a search engine for the Salesforce ecosystem. It is an independent project, not affiliated with or endorsed by Salesforce, Inc. By using the site or the API you accept these terms. They are written to be read: everything below is what the service actually does, in plain words.
Every search is logged with:
That is the whole list. There are no accounts on the search page, no tracking cookies, no advertising, and no analytics scripts. The only thing stored in your browser is your theme preference.
To run the service and make ranking better. Queries and clicks are how a search engine learns which results actually answered a question; they are used in aggregate, and click history older than 90 days stops influencing ranking. We do not sell or share this data.
Query text is sent to our embedding provider (OpenAI) to compute the vector used for retrieval, under that provider's API terms. It is not used to build advertising profiles by us or on our instruction.
We additionally store the name, email address and phone number you sign up with, plus per-key usage counts, and use them only to operate your key -- no mailing lists, no resale. API requests are logged the same way searches are.
Results link to publicly available pages, which belong to their authors and publishers. The index stores excerpts so search can work; every result links to the original source. If you own content that appears here and want it removed or corrected, open an issue at github.com/ComputedSpace/vsearch and it will be honoured.
Search results and any excerpts are provided as-is. They may be outdated or wrong, and they are not advice. Verify anything important against the linked source.
Rate limits exist so the service stays up for everyone. Do not scrape, probe, or attempt to bypass them.
If these terms change, this page and its date change with them. Continued use after a change means acceptance of the new terms.
